Emirates ID is the identification card issued by the government for the identification of citizens in the UAE. It can be used for different purposes like accessing government services, healthcare, insurance, etc. For reading the data in the EID card the smart card reader must support ISO 7816 standards. ACR39u and ACR122U are the most common readers for reading Emirates ID.
